Solahart has been manufacturing since 1905, introducing its first solar water heater in 1953. It was a viable alternative to conventional water heaters, and so reliable that many of the early models have lasted well in excess of 15 years. Early models weren't particularly streamlined but then, neither were the mass produced cars of the day.
Over the years, Solahart has strived to improve the efficiency and design of their range, always the innovator and leader. It was a major investment in research and development and the introduction of the double coated ceramic lining process that put the Solahart name on the world stage.
For Solahart, quality control and assurance are a critical part of the company's strength. It has sought and achieved the highest standards in manufacture as measured by third party accreditation.(see Fact File 008) |
