WHAT IS THE SCF ?
The SCF, or Solar Contribution Factor is that component of the total hot water energy requirement (inclusive of system losses) that is supplied by solar energy.
The Solahart SCF program provides a guide to the solar contribution that can be expected for any location provided climate and hot water demand details are known. There are numerous features built into the program that enable the input and output of information in several languages and units of measure. Additionally there is the ability to customise the printed output to include details of the person or company that is making the assessment.

INSTALLING SCF-24 ON YOUR COMPUTER
The minimum personal computer requirements to run the SCF-24 program is as follows:
- Microsoft Windows 3.1 or later
- Intel 386 processor or compatible
- 4 MB RAM minimum
- 2 MB hard disk space for executable/ support files
- 1.44 MB 3.5 - inch floppy drive
- Windows supported display adaptor and pointing device (eg. mouse)
